omg internets
so i am really worried that my laptop's wifi is crapping out. i'll have to do tests when i get back to sf. the problem is that the networks i am trying to access may be overloaded / badly configured / whatever so i can't be sure till i do tests ... examples
- couldnt connect to press internet at E3 (but there were a mllion peple trying)
- couldn't connect to the free MS wifi at gamefest except for at the end of the day (but it may be function of the room location or overloaded network)
- couldn't maintain a usable connection with the wifi in the hotel (which only works in the lobby, and the hotel is ghetto crap)
so i dunno. i really hope not, cos i figure the only solution will be new laptop at that point. ugh.
now i must return to my wifi free room. my room is supposed to have wired internet but it does not. right now i am stealing the ethernet cable from the pay internet kiosk in the hotel lobby because they can't really see me from the front desk.
siiiiiiiiiigh
