I remember meeting the man and not even knowing it was him at E3 in I think 99.
Apple had a tiny booth I wandered into and there was this bearded guy I started to talk with.

Frankly, I'd punch him in the face for dropping support for the Apple IIGS and moving over to just Macintosh.

Of course, I realize that it was a shrewd business maneuver now, but try telling that to a 12 year old who just wanted to play games.

I'll never forget Sierra On-Line's newsletter saying, "We won't be doing games on the IIGS anymore."
