my mutant power is perceiving useless nuance. uh-oh.
the things i wrote in this box became outdated and needed to be changed. problem: filling these boxes up is one of the most onerous tasks i can think of, online. it's just so bad. there's no way to write something that's clever, approachable yet distant, etc.
you can figure it out for yourself. i don't lock a majority of my posts. i don't know whether this is a good idea or not, but so far, i haven't had a lot of negative repercussions of this tactic. i think it's good to be communicative and open, generally.
i'm also aware enough by now that my personality isn't for everybody: so if it's not for you, just move along. i won't mind.
i don't mind if you friend me, but don't think anything if i don't friend you back. i tend to stick to friending people after i get to know them, not before.
i like the things in my interests, but the things in my interests are not all of the things that i like.
